Summer camping in Milford-on-Sea
Tents / Campervans OnlyDuring July and August 2026, we’re offering camping pitches in our fields, a ten-minute walk from the centre of Milford village. If you’re looking for a New Forest campsite, look no further. Milford-on-Sea is a coastal village on the edge of the New Forest National Park, with wonderful beaches, shops, pubs and restaurants — find out more at visitmilfordonsea.co.uk.
There’s beach and boat fishing and a number of lakes for a great day out — in August, bream and bass are in season. There’s a children’s playground just two minutes’ walk opposite the campsite, and loads of walking to explore (try walkinginengland.co.uk/hants for ideas).

Good to know
A relaxed, family-friendly field
Dogs & campfires. Two dogs per pitch are welcome at no charge, provided they’re on leads, well behaved and cleaned up after. Small campfires are allowed — firewood is on sale from the office. Please bring a fire basket if you have one, or you can have a small fire on the ground with some borrowed bricks. We ask that only wood sold on site is used.
Keeping costs down. We try very hard to keep the cost of your holiday down — we don’t charge for dogs, gazebos, extra cars, visitors or fires.
Who it’s for. The site suits families and couples, and we ask everyone to keep the noise down after 10pm. We’re sorry, but we don’t take groups — except small family groups (with children) of fewer than 16 people (max 8 adults), or a maximum of 4 adults with no children. For a family group booking, please call us first to confirm numbers.
Arrival & departure. Arrivals are from 9am to 9pm, and departure is by 3pm. We’re only open for 28 days of the year. Sorry, no caravans or motorhomes — small VW-type camper vans are fine.

What campers say
In their own words
“Just wanted to say thanks for having us for the last two weeks — we’ve had a lovely time. We loved the area and loved the campsite. We think it’s great what you do, you’ve created a really relaxed atmosphere. We’re already thinking of staying again same time next year, if you’ll have us.”A happy camper
“Thank you for a wonderful weekend at your campsite. The overall consensus was that it’s the best place we’ve stayed in the past 6 years we’ve been camping together. The perfect combination of loads of space in the field, near to the sea, good facilities and a very relaxed vibe all round.”A returning group
